Frequently Asked Questions

Are all Lodging at Yellowstone hotels pet friendly?
Yes, all four properties welcome pets at no extra charge, with registration and a signed pet agreement at check-in. The house rules protect everyone: pets are never left unattended or unleashed, they skip the breakfast room, laundry, lobby, and pool areas, and owners take responsibility for any damage.
Which hotel is best if someone in my group has pet allergies?
Two properties solve this directly: the ClubHouse Inn offers pet-free rooms on request, and The Cody Hotel keeps its entire third floor pet-free. Book by phone at either and mention the allergy so the right room is locked in.
Where can my dog stretch its legs near each hotel?
The West Gate Hotel faces a large treed open space made for walks, the Kelly Inn maintains outdoor pet stations and walking grounds, and both towns offer leash-friendly strolls. Inside Yellowstone, remember pets are limited to vehicles and parking-lot leash walks, so plan dog days around the towns and forests instead.
Can I leave my dog in the room during a park day?
No, at every property pets may not be left unattended in rooms, even crated; hotels are unfamiliar places and hallway sounds distress even calm dogs. Ask our front desks about local boarding or pet-sitting options if your itinerary includes a long park day.
